Lawndale
Planning Director Mark Winogrond and Lloyd Long, recreation and social services chief, will leave this week for jobs in West Hollywood. Winogrond, who has been with the city for five years, will become the director of community development in West Hollywood. Paula Burrier, grants coordinator, will take over as acting planning director while a search is under way for a permanent replacement. Long, an 11-year veteran of City Hall, will become director of human services in the new city. Recreation supervisor Brady Cherry will take his place on an acting basis.
