Buzzing Noise
The mysterious buzzing noise reported by people in Marin County has left those annoyed by the experience at a loss. Now some experts think the humming is caused by a singing fish that sounds that way during mating activities.
To me, it’s quite simple. They have what is called tinnitus, a ringing in the ears. I have it, along with a few million other poor souls who don’t know that to do.
Tony Randall once told Johnny Carson that he quit drinking booze and coffee and taking aspirin to combat tennitus. Did it help? No, he said, but he felt better.
