Eliodoro Garcia Leon, 30, of Escondido was stabbed in the chest at Tony’s Bar Thursday night during a barroom brawl and died at Palomar Memorial Hospital, a police spokeswoman said.
Escondido police said they received a call about a fight at Tony’s Bar shortly before midnight and found Leon in the parking lot, unconscious and bleeding profusely. He apparently was stabbed in the barroom, then ran outside and collapsed, the coroner’s office reported.
No suspects are in custody, police said, and the investigation is continuing.
