Rams Have the Lead and Football; Time Running Out for Eric

Eric Dickerson’s signing bonus and salary for the past two years has already cost each Ram ticket-holder about $1.50 per game. Many of us are tired of paying inflated prices for sporting events. I hope the Rams take a hard line in negotiations, and if he insists on sitting out the entire year, I hope they sue for the return of the signing bonus. I would bet that amount of money was paid in exchange for his written promise to play for the Rams for four years.

I don’t know what Dickerson’s major was at SMU, but if the Rams should sue and win, I hope it has prepared him for a lucrative position outside of football.
