Bernard Benton will be allowed to fight in Las Vegas this month despite his 90-day suspension by New Jersey officials for failing a drug test, the chairman of the Nevada Athletic Commission said.
Benton is scheduled to fight World Boxing Council cruiser-weight champion Alfonso Ratliff on Sept. 21, on the undercard of the Larry Holmes-Michael Spinks heavyweight title fight at the Riviera Hotel.
