Former Los Angeles Police Officer Patricia Lockhart, 26, pleaded innocent in Los Angeles Municipal Court to one count of murder in the shooting death of a man while she was off duty. Bail was set at $300,000 and a hearing was scheduled for Sept. 13. Lockhart was fired for unrelated misconduct several days after she allegedly killed Randy Carey, 38, in a grocery store parking lot last Dec. 14. She was arrested last week at her parents’ home in Lennox.
