Bank of America, San Francisco, announced that Lloyd J. Sugaski, 62, will take early retirement as executive vice president for loan policy, a post he has held since 1976. Sugaski’s retirement was described as voluntary and a move that he had been planning for some time.

Sugaski’s replacement is Glenhall Taylor Jr., a one-time Wells Fargo executive and the former vice chairman and manager of the credit policy group at B of A’s Seafirst subsidiary. Taylor will serve as a B of A vice chairman.
