Taking a Few Shots at Today’s Athletes
I’ve had enough of the fans’ whining complaints about outrageous ticket prices and player salaries. They obviously don’t understand the basic economic law of supply and demand. There is a limited supply of outstanding athletes and they are in great demand.
Why? Because a team like the Rams can make millions off a great player like Eric Dickerson through TV and fan appeal. Therefore, the athletes deserve a salary based on their value to the team, no matter how it compares to Joe Fan’s salary.
