Lewis Homes Opens 16-Unit Phase of Condominium Project

Lewis Homes today opens the first, 16-unit phase of Covina Pines in Covina, which will contain a total of 69 two-bedroom, two-bath condominium homes priced from $75,950 to $90,950. The first phase will be ready for occupancy in mid-November.
One of the three floor plans is split-level, the others one-story, and they range from 974 to 1,129 square feet. Various features include front and rear balconies, cathedral ceilings and wood-burning fireplaces. All have washer/dryer units, tile roofs and enclosed one- or two-car garages.
County bond financing is available for first-time buyers or those who have not owned a house for three years, offering 10.8% interest (11.6% annual rate) fixed for 30 years. FHA, VA and conventional financing are also offered.
The security community has a swimming pool and spa as well as landscaped grounds with ponds and a center court. Maintenance of all common areas is handled through the homeowners’ association for a monthly $79.23 fee.
Three models are open from noon to 7 p.m. weekdays except Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekends at 740 San Bernardino Road, west of Grand Avenue, which is an exit from the San Bernardino Freeway.
