6 Named to Fill New Superior Court Judgeships
Gov. George Deukmejian on Wednesday named three Municipal Court judges and three attorneys to fill newly created Los Angeles County Superior Court judgeships.
The appointees are Pasadena Municipal Judge Mortimer Franciscus, 60; East Los Angeles Municipal Judges Robert Martinez, 37, and David Perez, 47; Robert Parkin, 53, the Long Beach city attorney; William Rylaarsdam, 48, a Los Angeles attorney, and J. Gary Hastings, 42, a Los Angeles attorney.
The governor also appointed David Sills, 47, a Newport Beach, attorney and former mayor of Irvine, to the Orange County Superior Court bench.
