Audience reaction to a single line of “Sweet Dreams,” in which Jessica Lange plays country singer Patsy Cline, has given director Karel Reisz a new chore: a quick re-loop. The ‘50s-era scene in question occurs as Cline’s husband (Ed Harris) comes back to the cramped Army apartment where Cline, pregnant and disgruntled, has been ironing all day. Asked what she’s been up to, she snaps, “Having champagne with Rock Hudson.”
