Dear Ms. Snider, You may come into our “meticulous” home anytime and “warm” it up some with your children’s toys, drop a few books around here and there, and even let your little ones finger-paint on our walls, but the last thing we’d ever allow in our “home” is a cat, dog or any animal that would leave hairs and who knows what else on the couch, carpeting, kitchen table, etc. . . I don’t care how house-trained an animal is, it still leaves a “trickle” somewhere. Ms. Snider, is it really homey when you enter someone’s home that literally reeks of an animal? How do people ever smell your good home cooking when your pets are living in your kitchen?
