A computer salesman and two other men have been arrested for selling nearly $1 million in Apple IIe and Macintosh computers to an undercover agent. Del Williams, 46, of Placerville was accused of arranging the sale of 710 computers at a discount to a non-existent education coalition and then resell them at a higher price. He also was accused of manufacturing and selling counterfeit Macintosh computers made of rejected Apple parts to undercover agents. Arrested along with Williams were Tim Sampson of Georgetown, El Dorado County, and John Prestridge, also of Placerville.
