U.S. Conducts A-Test

LAS VEGAS —
A nuclear weapons test with an explosive yield of less than 20,000 tons of TNT was conducted this morning at the Nevada Test Site. The shot, code-named Ponil, was the 11th announced test at the Nevada site this year.
