World Boxing Assn. lightweight champion Livingstone Bramble’s title defense against Tyrone Crawley, earlier postponed from Oct. 12, has been rescheduled for Nov. 23, according to an MGM Grand spokesman in Reno.
Two obstacles to the fight have been removed. NBC, which had chosen to televise another fight instead of Bramble’s bout on Oct. 12, will also show the Bramble fight on its new date.
And Bramble’s trainer, Panama Lewis, will step down. He had faced licensing problems in Nevada after a suspension in New York.
