KIIS-FM STILL LEADING IN ARBITRONS
Though the lead KIIS-FM (102.7) has held over every other radio station in the market slipped a bit, the summer Arbitron ratings released Tuesday showed no marked change in Los Angeles listening habits during the months of July, August and September.
KIIS-FM is still the top-rated station in Los Angeles, followed closely by the two ABC-owned-and-operated radio stations, KABC-AM (790) and KLOS-FM (95.5). The only mild surprises were the continuing weaker showings of all-news stations and beautiful music outlets in comparison to pop music formats.
The top 21 stations, followed by their percentage of the Los Angeles listening audience over the age of 12 as measured by Arbitron, are:
KIIS-FM (102.7) 8.8
KABC-AM (790) 8.3
KLOS-FM (95.5) 4.4
