A Folsom Prison inmate was in critical but stable condition at a Sacramento hospital after he was stabbed nine times outside his cell. Prison spokesman Jim Graham said there were no suspects in the attack on Joseph Thurs, 23, who is serving a three-year term for burglary. Graham said guards heard a commotion and found Thurs with seven stab wounds in the upper body and one wound in each arm.
