Timeout in Chess Match

MOSCOW —
Champion Anatoly Karpov requested a timeout Saturday, postponing the 13th game in his world chess title rematch with challenger Gary Kasparov until Tuesday, Tass news agency reported. Karpov has now used two of the three timeouts each player is allowed and Kasparov has used one. They are tied at six points.
