Group Elects Ackerman as Top Officer
Leroy L. Ackerman, who has his own appraisal and consulting firm in Glendale, has been elected president of the Los Angeles chapter of the American Society of Appraisers.
Other officers are Abel E. Morales, first vice president; Margaret C. Anderson, second vice president; Stan Deakin, third vice president; Dale Edgington, secretary, and Nancy Alison Martin, treasurer.
The Los Angeles chapter, started in 1936, is the founding chapter of the American Society of Appraisers, now headquartered in Washington, and reportedly the largest multi-discipline appraisal organization in the world.
