Robin Parkhouse, a former All-American defensive end for Alabama, was arrested by federal narcotics agents after a raid on a Baltimore hotel netted 6.6 pounds of pure cocaine.

Parkhouse, 35, and David Collier, 30, both of Orlando, Fla., were being held without bond on charges of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, Bob O’Leary of the federal Drug Enforcement Administration said. O’Leary said the cocaine has an estimated street value of $1.2 million.

Parkhouse was drafted by the Baltimore Colts after graduating in 1972 but was cut at the end of the exhibition season. He later played with Winnipeg of the Canadian Football League.
