Newport Beach : Floyd H. Schenk Jr. Named Municipal Judge
Floyd H. Schenk Jr., a Newport Beach attorney, has been appointed by Gov. George Deukmejian to the West Orange CountyMunicipal Court bench.
Schenk, 61, replaces Patty Bamattre-Manoukian, who recently left the county and has since been appointed by the governor as a municipal court judge in Santa Clara County.
Schenk has practiced law in Los Angeles, Newport Beach and Palm Springs since 1951. He is a member of the arbitration panel of the American Arbitration Assn.
He received his bachelor of laws degree from Loyola University in 1951.
