Grace Appoints Officer

Janet Colson has been appointed vice president of human resources for the Irvine-based restaurant group of W.R. Grace and Co. Colson, 41, worked with the Reagan-Bush transition team in 1980 and had been a special assistant to President Reagan on the National Security Council and Grace Commission staffs for three years before joining Grace last year as a legislative assistant in the company’s Washington office. Grace’s restaurant group operates 825 restaurants nationwide, including the El Torito, Reuben’s, Coco’s and Del Taco chains.
