Thousand Oaks Crash Victim Identified

A 32-year-old Thousand Oaks man who was killed late Monday night in an automobile accident near his home has been identified as Steven B. Sellers, a spokesman for the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department said.

Sellers and three companions were westbound on Willow Lane in Thousand Oaks about 11:20 p.m. when Sellers, who was driving, crashed into a freeway bridge pillar while trying to turn right, Lt. Mike Brown said.

Sellers was pronounced dead at the scene. Two companions, Carl Jacobson, 46, and Dirk Rosikiewicz, 26, both of Thousand Oaks, suffered head and chest injuries and were taken to Westlake Community Hospital, Brown said. Both were in stable condition Wednesday, a hospital spokeswoman said.
