Work Under Way on Seniors Center
Construction has begun on a $620,000 Mira Mesa Senior Center on a site near the Mira Mesa Public Library, culminating community efforts led by Pardee Construction Co., major developer in the area, and San Diego City Councilman Ed Struiksma.
The 4,228-square foot, one-story building, designed by the Smith Group of San Diego, will become San Diego’s largest and most elaborate senior citizens center and will include a kitchen, game room and other facilities for dinners, parties and dancing.
