Man Hit by Car Dies: A 75-year-old Anaheim man died Monday morning after he was struck by a car while crossing Harbor Boulevard, Anaheim police said. Jose Jesus Ruiz was treated at the scene by paramedics and then taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he was pronounced dead at 8:30 a.m., Sgt. Richard Zschoche said. Ruiz was struck by a car traveling north just before 7 a.m., Zschoche said. Ruiz, who was taking his daily morning walk, apparently did not see the vehicle, Zschoche said. The driver was not cited.
