Redondo Beach : Crime Panel May Be Elevated
The City Council has introduced an ordinance that would elevate the city’s Crime Prevention Committee to commission status. City officials said the change will not effect the duties of the body, but will make it a permanent citizens advisory group. The committee works with the Police Department to disseminate crime-prevention information to residents and businesses.
