A Spanish-language TV station will debut.
KVEA-TV Channel 52 will begin broadcasting in Southern California on Nov. 24. KVEA-TV will broadcast 14 hours a day, reaching Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, Kern and Ventura counties. The station, located in Los Angeles, is owned by Glendale-based Estrella Communications, which bought the station from Oak Media Corp. for $30 million. KVEA previously was a subscription UHF station called KBSC-TV.
