In the recent article commemorating the 125th anniversary of the French Hospital, reporter Evelyn De Wolfe stated that “immigrants continue to seek health care at the second oldest hospital in Los Angeles which is only 10 years younger than the city itself. . . . “

Surely, The Times is aware that the city of Los Angeles is 204 years old--that’s what the Bicentennial was all about, wasn’t it?
