A Four Seasons Hotel thought to be the tallest poured-in-place structure in Orange County has been topped out at 690 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach. Opening is expected in May or June, 1986.
The $65-million, 319-room hotel will rise 21 stories, according to Dinwiddie Construction Co. of Newport Beach, the builder. “Topping out” indicates the placement of the topmost structural member in a building’s framework.
