Grambling Loses to Jackson State, 35-26

JACKSON, Miss. —
Quarterback Shannon Boyd connected on touchdown pass plays of 66, 35 and 6 yards in a pouring rain Saturday night to lead Jackson State to a 35-26 victory over previously undefeated Grambling.
The victory improved Jackson State’s record to 5-2 overall and pushed the Tigers into first place in the Southwestern Athletic Conference with a 4-1 mark. Grambling, 6-1 overall, dropped to 3-1 in conference play.
