A La Mirada couple suspected of peddling cocaine, marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms from a Whittier store where they sold drug paraphernalia have been arrested by Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies. Ending a two-year investigation, Daniel Fisher, 36, and his wife, Ilene, 34, were arrested at their home and booked on suspicion of possessing narcotics for sale, Deputy Steve Fitzsimmon said. Deputies obtained search warrants for the home and the Whittier “head shop,” and found an ounce of cocaine, two pounds of marijuana and six grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms at the couple’s home and another ounce of cocaine, a pound of marijuana and about $1,000 in cash at the shop, Fitzsimmon said.
