Fullerton

Arboretum Director Named: David L. Walkington, professor of biology at Cal State Fullerton, has been appointed director of the Fullerton Arboretum, a 26-acre botanical retreat located on campus. He succeeds Ted L. Hanes, professor of botany, who served four years as director. Walkington said that his emphasis will be on making the arboretum more accessible to area schools for educational and research purposes, and on encouraging local businesses to support the facility.
