Builders’ Association to Police Fair Housing

A three-way agreement has been signed under which the Building Industry Assn. of Southern California will oversee compliance with federal fair housing statutes within Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.

Antonio Monroig, assistant secretary of Housing & Urban Development, Lt. Gov. Leo McCarthy and representatives of the builders’ association signed the agreement, designed to increase fair housing marketing practices throughout Southern California.
