In Bob Oates’ “Boom Town Days” in the inaugural issue, a two-page photograph (pages 60-61) ran with the caption “Raider fans . . . .” I can assure you that these are not Raider fans. Having lived in San Diego for over 20 years, I have become quite proficient in recognizing San Diego Padre and Charger cap-wearing loyalists enjoying a sunny afternoon at Jack Murphy Stadium, in America’s Finest City.
