Toxics Panel Formed
Formation of an advisory committee on hazardous waste reduction in Los Angeles was announced Monday by Mayor Tom Bradley.
After 20 months, the 20-member panel--including representatives of the toxic waste and recycling industries, labor, academia, government and environmentalists--will suggest ways to “reduce the amounts of toxic waste we produce,” Bradley said.
