Interfaith Honor Due Pastor, Wife

Shir Ha-Ma’alot Harbor Reform Temple will honor the Rev. William McQuoid and his wife, Barbara, of St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church at a fashion show to begin at 6 p.m. Nov. 23. at the Airporter Inn in Irvine.
The McQuoids are being feted by the temple congregation for their interfaith cooperation and good will. McQuoid was instrumental in the decision to share St. Mark’s newly built facilities in Newport Beach with the Harbor Reform Temple. He was also a founding member of the Newport Mesa-Irvine Interfaith Council.
The community is invited to attend the “Rhapsody in Blue” fashion show, sponsored by the temple Sisterhood at the Airporter. The gala will begin at 6 p.m. with cocktails and a presentation of jewelry by 14k Gold Etcetera. Fashions by the May Co. at South Coast Plaza will be modeled by temple members at 6:30 p.m., with dinner and dancing following.
Various prizes will be raffled off, including a grand prize of a seven-day cruise to Mexico. Tickets to the event are $27.50 and are available through the temple. Reservations are necessary. For more information, call (714) 644-7203.
