Chargers Move to Strengthen Offensive Line

Share

The Chargers announced three modifications to their roster Friday, including the release of reserve quarterback Joe Dufek, who never played in his month with the team.

The Chargers also acquired offensive lineman Jim Leonard, who had been waived by the San Francisco 49ers, and activated offensive guard Bill Searcey, who had been on injured reserve since the preseason.

The team’s offensive line has been weakened by injuries in the last two weeks and reserve strength was needed going into Sunday’s game with the Raiders.
