Apartment Assn. Publishes Guide to Rental Rules

The California Apartment Assn. has published a comprehensive guide to California’s rental laws, regulations and common-sense operating procedures.

Called “The California Rental Housing Reference Book,” and nicknamed the “Gold Book,” the guide provides information on rental agreements, marketing rental property, collection of rents, discrimination laws, eviction procedures, resident communications and requirements when there is a sale of rental property. It also contains more than 100 legal rental forms.
