Santa Monica OKs Bandini Statue Funds for Palisades Park
The Santa Monica City Council has allocated $6,000 for a commemorative statue of Arcadia Bandini de Baker, which will be placed in Palisades Park.
The amount will be matched with a $6,000 grant from the Bandini family.
The Bronze sculpture of Mrs. Bandini, a benafactor of the city, will be nearly 9 feet high and will be placed in the center of the park’s rose garden.
