A Tustin laboratory worker who allegedly stabbed two of his supervisors, killing one of them, when they fired him last week was arrested as he returned to work, authorities said. Ivory Joe Valentine, 32, was taken into custody without a struggle after security guards reported he had returned to Dynachem Corp., Tustin police said. “We don’t have any idea why he came back and he wouldn’t tell us,” Sgt. Paul Wright said. Police also seized Valentine’s car and were planning to search it for a knife believed used to be the murder weapon. Valentine, a lab technician, allegedly attacked Ronald R. Gorby, 52, and John O. Wolcott, 60, both of Tustin, Friday afternoon when they called him into their offices and told him he was fired, police said. Gorby died of stab wounds to his upper body. Wolcott was wounded in the face and neck and is in stable condition at a Santa Ana hospital.
