Clark E. Wallace, a Moraga (Calif.) realtor, has been elected president of the National Assn. of Realtors. He was installed here last week at the association’s 78th annual convention.

Other new officers are William Moore, Denver, president-elect; Nestor Weigan, Wichita, Kan., first vice president; Dorcas Helfant, Virginia Beach, Va., vice president and Phillip Stark, Madison, Wisc., treasurer. Stark will be serving his third term as treasurer of the 680,000-member association.

Wallace, who succeeds David D. Roberts of Mobile, Ala., is co-owner of Wallace, Anderson, Underwood & Scofield, and of Wallace-Olson Development Co. He was a regional vice president of the national association in 1982 and is a past president of the California Assn. of Realtors.

Wallace said that working to reduce the federal deficit will be his top priority as president of the realtor group next year--as it has been for the past five years. He added that the realtor organization will continue to lobby for tax reform legislation that preserves the benefits of home ownership for as many people as possible.
