Handling of Medvid Affair
It might be difficult to find more striking examples of the absurd limits placed upon compassion by this Administration than the lengths it went to recently to determine whether a single Soviet sailor was entitled to asylum in this country as contrasted with the steps it has taken to prosecute American citizens offering sanctuary to thousands of beleaguered refugees from Central America.
