Cypress Defeats Azusa Pacific JV

Guards Jeff Martineau and Bill Dobbs combined for 28 points Tuesday night to lead Cypress College to a 91-44 victory over the Azusa Pacific JV team in the Chargers’ season opener at Cypress.

Cypress made 20 of 30 shots from the field in the first half to take a 44-16 lead, with Dobbs scoring 10 of his 13 points by halftime. The Chargers had four players score in double figures, led by Martineau, who had 15. Dave Dangleis had 15 points to lead Azusa Pacific (0-3).
