McKesson acquired Amfac Veterinary Supply.

The San Francisco-based company reported that it has acquired substantially all of the assets of the Amfac subsidiary, a major full-line distributor of veterinary health products and services. The acquisition doubles the size of McKesson Corp.’s veterinary supply business and makes McKesson one of the largest firms in the industry. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
