Westwood : Language Improvement
UCLA’s Office of Academic Inter-Institutional Programs is working to improve foreign language instruction by bringing together university faculty and secondary school teachers to discuss instructional philosophies for language and literature. In cooperation with the UCLA Spanish and Portuguese and Classics departments, UCLA will provide professional development programs for secondary teachers of Spanish and Latin in the summer, according to Juan Francisco Lara, dean of the program.
