Ulloa New President of Latin Organization

Hilda Ulloa, former vice president and chairman of the board of the Hollywood Foreign Press Assn. has been elected president of the Fraternidad de Damas Hispanas, a newly founded philanthropic organization composed of prominent women of Latin descent who reside in Los Angeles.
The group last weekend held its first fund-raiser, a party at the Acapulco Restaurant, to benefit Mexico’s earthquake victims. Among the guests was film star Jorge Rivera who made the trip from Mexico to accept a check from Las Damas on behalf of the Mexican Red Cross.
