Kings’ Goaltender Is at Mercy of Defense

Well, it’s that part of the season again. The Kings are in last place and the front office is looking for a new goaltender. But diehard King fans (and there are only a few of us left) know it’s not the fault of Bob Janecyk alone.

The Kings year after year have been known for a defense that looks like Swiss cheese and forwards afraid to check their own shadows. And Janecyk can only be as good as his defense.
