Talks between supermarket management representatives and striking meat cutters and Teamsters broke off with little progress made and no new negotiations scheduled as the strike entered its 19th day, sources close to the bargaining sessions reported. Meanwhile, meat cutters in Northern California narrowly voted to reject a management offer amid reports that the strike may spread there.
