Washington Redskin quarterback Joe Theismann, who has had two operations on the compound fracture of his lower right leg, was released from an Arlington, Va., hospital several days ahead of schedule.
“The doctors are so pleased with his recovery that they have decided to let him go home early,” a hospital spokesperson said.
