‘Baby on Board’ Placards
It seems to me that everyone has missed the point of the signs.
Unfortunately for many of us, driving with children in the car is still legal in many states and the distractions afforded by this oversight of our legislators are too numerous to list.
The signs are truly warning other drivers that the person at the wheel is driving under the influence of screaming babies, fighting siblings, children demanding use of a bathroom now , and other unpleasantries.
I appreciate any driver warning me of the dangerous cargo they are carrying and steer clear of these vehicles just as I do any vehicle displaying “Hazardous Materials” signs.
